Development Advice and Support

ATN Strategies works with MR Developments to support the planning, permitting, government relations, and public engagement for several major housing projects across rural HRM, primarily in Upper Hammons Plains and the Eastern Shore.  These projects deliver inclusive, affordable, and sustainable housing solutions designed to serve hundreds of Nova Scotians, and include support for the development of hundreds of units for the black owned, black lead Upper Hammons Plains Community Land Trust

ATN provides strategic support, including site identification, stakeholder relations, and municipal approvals. ATN’s leadership in communications and consultation ensures projects gain critical community and government trust, while our experience with affordable housing makes it possible to identify and advance partnerships with not-for-profit groups to maximize affordability and long-term community integration. In each project, ATN’s goal is to facilitate timely approvals, foster transparency, and ensure affordable housing opportunities are realized using best practices in engagement and partnership development.
