Waye Mason, MBA an Associate, Strategy & Impact at ATN. An experienced strategic planner, entrepreneur, educator, and community builder. He has more than 30 years of leadership experience in economic development, business, municipal government, and community development. Waye advises non-profits, social enterprises, cultural organizations, and community leaders on strategy, organizational development, stakeholder engagement, governance, and impact planning. He helps organizations turn ambitious goals into practical plans, build stronger partnerships, assess strategic options, and achieve measurable results.
Throughout his career, Waye has led and contributed to strategic planning projects across a range of sectors and communities. As a municipal Councillor, he participated in the development and implementation of strategic plans for initiatives including the Halifax Common Master Plan, the Halifax Public Library, and the Green Municipal Fund. As a consultant, he has supported business planning, market analysis, feasibility assessment, and stakeholder engagement for corporations, arts organizations, economic revitalization initiatives, and sustainability projects.
Waye holds a Master of Business Administration in General Management from Saint Mary’s University, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dalhousie University, and a Community College Education (Faculty) Diploma from the Nova Scotia Community College, where he was faculty for five years.
