Dr. Gladstone Deklu

Gladstone is an experienced researcher with a background in Economics and Linguistics. He has expertise in strategy development, program evaluation qualitative stakeholder engagement, and deep literature and background review experience. Gladstone has previously worked as a Researcher and Instructor at the Memorial University of Newfoundland and as a volunteer lead at African Rights Initiative International, Ghana. Before joining ATN, Gladstone worked as a research lead, completed qualitative data analysis, and spearheaded fundraising events in a Non-Profit setting.
In his role at ATN, Gladstone has played a pivotal role in complex projects, where he leveraged his attention to detail, analytical and research skills in completing various benchmarking exercises, comparative & options analyses, and literature reviews for various projects ranging from higher education, mental health and addiction to Indigenous affairs. Gladstone has been deeply engaged with the various strategic planning projects with Indigenous communities and organizations and higher education institutes. Most recently, Gladstone co-led the development of a strategic directions plan for the MacEachen Institute for Public Policy and Governance (MIPP).
Gladstone holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ghana and Doctorate from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He is also currently working toward a Project Management Designation with the Project Management Institute (PMI).
